Shefali's hands have been adorned with peacocks drawn using mehndi or henna. Right now, the mehndi is still drying. Water containing sugar and lemon has been applied to help the mehndi set.	Shefali's palms also have peacocks on them, but they are hidden within the intricate design.
Mehndi has also been applied to Shefali's feet.	Both Urmila and Shefali are showing off their hands (and announcing their intention to sit around and watch movies all night.)
Urmila's hands are decorated with an intricate flower pattern.	Ditto with Urmila's palms.
This is how Shefali's hand looked the next morning after scrubbing off the dried mehndi using eucalyptus oil. Note the rich red color left behind and also the beautiful peacock!
