Shefali's hands have been adorned with peacocks drawn using mehndi or henna. Right now, the mehndi is still drying. Water containing sugar and lemon has been applied to help the mehndi set.

Shefali's palms also have peacocks on them, but they are hidden within the intricate design.

Mehndi has also been applied to Shefali's feet.

Urmila's hands are decorated with an intricate flower pattern.
