When & Where
Our wedding ceremony began at six o'clock in the evening on Saturday, January 17th, 2004, at the Manor House in Mason, Ohio. A dinner reception followed. For more information about the ceremony events and the reception, please view our Wedding Program.
Ceremony
Our ceremony combined elements of traditional Hindu and Jewish weddings. Conveniently, in both religions, the ceremony takes place under a canopy, called a huppah in Judaism and a mandap in Hinduism. We also signed a traditional Jewish marriage contract called a ketubah prior to the ceremony. The officiants were Rabbis Bruce and Donna Adler of Congregation B'nai Tikvah and Panditji Kailash C. Sharma of The Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinnati.
